02BEFORE ANYONE VISITS
What you can safely check.
- Note where the floor lifts — near bathrooms, doors or outside walls.
- Check whether skirting is being pushed off.
- Look for leaks from nearby appliances or bathrooms.
- Avoid walking heavily on raised sections.
03WHAT WE MEASURE
We measure moisture in the boards and the screed below, check expansion gaps at walls and thresholds, and look for a water source nearby. Floors only stay flat once the cause is removed.
04IN A VILLA
Villas often have engineered timber in large open rooms beside terraces and bathrooms. AC dries the air hard in summer, while ground floors can pick up moisture from below or from irrigation outside.
